Today I have my first travel blog for y’all! I was lucky enough to spend the tail end of spring break exploring Nashville, Tennessee with my mom, and I thought my trip would be the perfect opportunity to try my hand at travel blogging. We spent two days in Music City before heading down to Alabama to see some family, and I was sure to take lots of pictures! We didn’t have time to do a ton of stuff, but I really enjoyed the time I got to spend in one of my favorite cities. I hope y’all enjoy!
Travel with Me: Nashville, TN
First stop: lunch in the city! We ended up at the cutest little restaurant called Merchants on Broadway, Nashville’s main drag. It was fabulous! I ordered their classic cobb salad, and it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Not to mention – the servers wear short-sleeved white button downs, black suspenders, and bowties. The place edgy and classy, all at the same time. The black and white color scheme, combined with metallic details and white marble, makes the whole ambiance feel timeless. If you’re ever in downtown Nashville, I highly recommend trying Merchants!
After lunch, we took a stroll down Broadway, people watching and ducking into little shops as we passed by. If you’ve never been to Nashville, one thing you should know is that there are boot stores EVERYWHERE. I took some snapshots of the first one we went into, and it’s an absolute dream. Now I really want some turquoise cowboy boots, not going to lie.
After that, we continued down a little side street and ended up doing some shopping. We found this little jewelry store off on one of the side streets called Honey Girl, and I got two pairs of the most ADORABLE earrings!
Tassels are a huge trend right now, and I thought the pink tassel earrings would be perfect! They’re really light too, which is an added plus. I’ve also seen double pearl earrings like these on a few different websites, so when I found them in the boutique, I just had to get them. And the best part, both of these pairs together were only $26!
At the end of Broadway is the Cumberland River, and we stopped at the overlook to take a shot of my outfit for the day. I will link everything I’m wearing below!

After we were finished on Broadway, we headed out to my second favorite place in Tennessee: Franklin! Franklin sits about twenty minutes outside of the city, and it is one of the cutest little southern towns I’ve ever seen! Its main street is absolutely adorable, with tons of shopping and restaurants. I got some great summer pieces that I cannot wait to wear!
Here are two items I got from a little boutique called Jondie (pictured above). The dress has a beautiful floral print and the romper is so versatile! I think it’ll be a great outfit as well as a swim suit cover-up for the summer.
This next cream dress is from another little shop that I unfortunately cannot remember the name of, but the brand of it is Blu Pepper, a wholesale bohemian line produced by Edge Clothing Inc. This is the perfect dress for the summertime, especially with it’s cut-out detailing and lace sleeves. I think it would look great with some heeled booties and a hat! Oh, the possibilities.
After shopping, we stopped by our hotel to change and then went out for some Mellow Mushroom pizza on Franklin’s main drag. I personally would never say no to Mellow Mushroom, especially they gluten-free veggie pizza – so good! Here’s a pictures of my outfit of the night! There had just been a rainstorm, and so the colors were beautiful in the sunsetting sky.

And with that, my first travel blog has come to a close. I hope y’all enjoyed getting a peek inside my adventures! Be sure to watch out for my new clothing pieces in upcoming OOTDs. I am so excited to style them! But above all, what I want to say as a take-away from my trip, is that travel is such a wonderful thing, and it can inspire in so many ways. The world is big and life can be scary, but it shouldn’t hold you back from going on adventures and following your dreams. The best is yet to come – embrace it!
